Big thanks to our great Lotto Committee and to everyone who supports St Brigid’s weekly Lottery. There was no Lotto jackpot winner on Thursday last and our Jackpot for this week will be €5,800. This week’s draw will be in Myo’s on Friday 4th October. St Brigids Nursery kindly sponsored by Sherry Fitzgerald. Nursery is 9.30 to 11.00 on Saturdays, all 4 to 7 year olds are welcome. If weather is wet the nursery is in the hall, so bring runners on wet days. Our Senior Hurlers take on Craobh Chiarain in the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship semi final at 2.30pm on Sunday 6th October in Parnell Park. The lads would love lots of support. Well done to our AFL3, AFL 10 and Minor A Hurling teams all of whom recorded excellent Championship wins at the weekend. All three teams now progress to the quarter final stages. A Transition Year (TY) Work Placement Initiative Meeting for club TY students and their parents takes place on Monday, 14th October at 8pm in Russell Park. Further details on our club website. Juvenile Handball Training, which is open to current and new juvenile players, continues every Wednesday evening at 7pm in Russell Park. Drop down to any of the sessions.
