A huge thank you to everyone who supports St Brigid’s weekly Lotto and to our great Lotto Committee. Our first autumn draw was on the 5th of September in The Greyhound. There was no Lotto jackpot winner on Thursday last and our Jackpot for this week will be €5,200. This week’s draw will be in Russell Park on Thursday 12th September. St Brigid’s Club Nursery, in association with Sherry Fitzgerald has recommenced. Nursery is 9.30 to 11.00 on Saturdays, all 4 to 7 year olds are welcome. We are looking for big support for our 5k event on Sunday 15th, Walk, Jog or Run but make sure to participate. A good way to start Sunday inbetween the two All-Ireland Finals in store! Wishing Paddy Andrews and all the Dublin team the very best as they meet Kerry in the SFC All-Ireland replay on Saturday evening. Wishing Ciara Trant and Noelle Healy and the Dublin team the very best on Sunday as they meet Galway in the All-Ireland Final. Congratulations Eoin Kennedy who had an epic win in the 60x30 All-Ireland Final v Westmeath's Robbie McCarthy.The final was full of skill, tactics and amazing athleticism from both players. Eoin won out in a massively competitive two games 21-20, 21-18. Well done to the Senior Hurlers who qualified for the SHC quarter-finals with a good win over St Judes last weekend.
