Thank you to everyone who supports St Brigids Lotto and to our great Lotto Committee. There was no winner of last week’s Lotto Jackpot Draw on the 29th March. There will be no draw this week as our team take a well-deserved Easter mini-break. Our next draw is in the Greyhound Inn on Thursday 12th April with the Jackpot now €3,000. Make sure to have your envelopes in the draw to have a chance to win. Championship Season is upon us already- with the snow barely melted the various Hurling championships starts this week. We lost out to Cuala by a narrow margin in last year’s Senior Hurling Quarter Final and Cuala went on to achieve back to back All-Ireland Championship wins. Only a short few weeks later Brigids and Cuala are set to meet in Parnell Park on the 7th April at 5.45pm to commence the 2018 competition. The other clubs in our group are Craobh Chiarain and Ballyboden. Junior A Hurlers are away to Faughs on the 7th with Junior E home to Realt Dearg on the 8th. All of the teams would appreciate a big St Brigids support for their games. Senior Football group draw sees us compete with Ballymun, Castleknock and Clontarf, so some great matches in store.
