Annaghdown under 16 hurlers defeated Kiltormer by 3-14 to 0-6 in Kiltormer last Thursday in round 4 of the championship. A Damien Curry goal helped Annaghdown into a 1-9 to 0-4 interval lead. Annaghdown had first half point scorers in Diarmuid Kilcommins, Ciaran Potter, Darragh McDonagh and Joey Maguire. Annaghdown were the dominant team in the second half with Joey Maguire adding 1-2 to his tally with Damien Curry registering 1-1. Cian O’Toole and Diarmuid Kilcommins also pointed in the second half. Annaghdown play Cappataggle in their next championship game this Thursday April 9th at 6.30pm in Cregg. Intermediate hurlers drew with Kilconieron on Monday evening with Adrian Murphy scoring a late Annaghdown goal to secure a draw at 2-14 to 0-20. Annaghdown’s other goal was scored by Niall Kinneen. Annaghdown’s point scorers were Jonathan Comer, Enda Mullarkey, Eoghan Pierce, Niall O’Keeffe and Alan Newell.
