Our footballers were beaten by Caherlistrane in the John Dunne Cup by 0-7 to 1-7 on Saturday evening last.
Our under 14 hurlers claimed their third victory of the campaign when defeating Four Roads in Cregg on Monday evening last by 7-7 t- 0-2. Four Roads, who were missing a number of their players, played with wind advantage in the first half but two Cian Curry goals as well as an Adam Reilly point helped Annaghdown lead by 2-1 to 0-1 at half time. Annaghdown dominated the second half with goals coming from Diarmuid Kilcommins and Adam Heneghan. Annaghdown had second half point scorers in Adam Reilly, Aaron Costello, Adam Heneghan and Diarmuid Kilcommins. Their next game is against Padraig Pearses of Roscommon on Monday next at6.30pm in Cregg.

Annaghdown under 16 hurlers play Kiltormer this Thursday evening at 6.30 pm in Kiltormer with the bus leaving from outside Peggy’s at 5pm. They follow that game with a home tie against Cappataggle on Thursday week at 6.30 pm in Cregg.
Annaghdown intermediate hurlers play Kilconieron in the league on Easter Monday at 5pm in Kilconieron.
