Kenny Leonard won the Promoters prize and next jackpot €13.300 We were beaten by Bennettsbridge (Kilkenny) in the All-Ireland junior hurling semi-final in Nenagh on Sunday by 2-19 to 0-9, playing with the breeze in the opening half we lead by three points at the break 0-7 to 0-4, but the winners were level early in the second when Liam Blanchfield found the net. Our team was: C Og Coen, M O'Neill, S Collier, R Newell, T Burke, E Mullarkey, M Duggan, F O'Doherty, A Murphy, D Comer, N O'Keeffe, C Gaffney, J Comer, C Monaghan, M Coleman. Subs: A Goulding for S Collier, R Leonard for D Comer, J King for C Gaffney. Our scorers were: J Comer 0-4 (4f), D Comer 0-2 (1f), F O'Doherty, A Murphy, C Gaffney 0-1 each.
