At Moycullen on Sunday Annaghdown beat Oughterard in the replay of the County Minor ‘B’ Championship final by seven points 2-11 to 1-7,  ‘Man of the Match’ Ryan Forde hit a goal with seven minutes to the break.  Annaghdown lead by 2-5 to 0-2 and two minutes into injury time a Forde cross found Curry hovering on the edge of the square and ball finished in the net to give us a 2-5 to 0-2 lead at the break.

Oughterard were in total control for the first twenty minutes of the second half and outscored Annaghdown by 1-5 to 0-1 with Curry pointing our only score from a free on six minutes, but we finished strong with five points in a row from Curry 0-2 and one each from Conor Maloney, Quirke and Lynch to win the Joey Murphy Cup.

The team has won the Minor B1 Shield, North B Championship and the County cup and well done to the entire panel and the Management team of Mark Curry (Manager) and selectors Paul Curran, P.J.Fallon and Derek Flynn and thanks to all who sponsored gear and our loyal supporters over the season.
