U-16 Football Final. Congrats to our U–16 footballers who defeated a good Corofin side 3-11 to 0-11 in the Div 1A Shield Final in Tuam Stadium last Sunday. It was a intense and keenly contested game.  In the second quarter we dominated the game playing some brilliant passages of football to go in at the break leading 2-6 to 0-4 with our scores coming from Conor Scully 1-0, Adam Quirke 0-2 , Jason Walsh 1-1, and Ryan Forde 0-3.  Further scores from Adam Quirke, Conor Scully and Ryan Forde steadying the ship as Corofin didn’t give up the fight and added three points of their own.
