Promoters prize Peggy’s Bar and next jackpot €14.800 The A.G.M. of the Annaghdown GAA club is on Tuesday night December 13th at 8.00 p.m in the Clubhouse, this is a very important meeting to help plan the club actives going foward both on and off the field of play so come along on the night and be part of the venture. Massive CONGRATULATIONS to our Senior Ladies and their management(Tom Murphy, Richard McNicholas, Claire Burke and Fiona Wynne) on their historic win at the weekend. Annaghdown ladies joined an elite number of Galway clubs to capture the All-Ireland Intermediate final at Parnell Park on Sunday last with a two point win over Armagh side Shane O' Neill's following in the footsteps of Kilkerrin-Clonberne 1999, St Brendans 2001 and Claregalway three years ago. The parish was a sea of maroon and white banners and bunting as the final approached and the team were in no doubt of the huge support that was out there and that was again shown on Sunday night at the official homecoming in the Corrandulla Community Centre when a full house greeted the champions.
