At Claregalway on Thursday evening in the John Dunne Cup we play Claregalway at 7.45pm,
We lost to Caltra in the opening round of the senior football championship in Tuam Stadium on Sunday evening and we were drawn against Caherlistrane in round 2 (losers group), it was all square at the break 0-4 each our scorers were Enda Mullarkey 0-2, Eoin Curry and Conor Moloney added the other points .In the second we went into a three point lead with a brace of points from Curry with Moloney adding the other, Caltra hit back with 1-1 only for Curry to tie the scores again at 0-8 to 1-5.
The winners then outscored us by 1-8 to 0-2 in the remainder of the half as they advanced to the next round on a final score of 2-13 to 0-10. Our team was: J Healy, E Kerin, A Pender, J Kerin, J Creaven, M Naughton, D Meehan, C Duggan, W Fallon, C Moloney, E Mullarkey M Devaney, N Kinneen, A Burke, E Curry. Subs C Coen, K Greaney, I Burke.
Our football Summer Camp is on from 4th to 8th July this year in Cregg.
Good Luck to Derek Joyce, Currandrum who is racing in the An Post Rás 8 day Irish international cycle race starting this Sunday at Dublin Castle and finishing Sunday week in Skerries.
