Our Intermediate hurlers got back to winning ways with a three point victory over Kilconieron in the championship at Craughwell on Sunday, this was a game that everything including two red cards but there was only sidelined, Annaghdown were more up for the game especially Damien Comer who played havoc running at the Kilconieron defence who found him hard to handle.
The winners were trailing at the break by 0-7 to 2-5 with Johnny Comer scoring all but one of our first half tally with Shane Collier adding the other, in part two despite been a player short it was Annaghdown who hit the ground running scoring 1-5 without reply with the Comer brothers in top shooting form as Damien scored the goal with Johnny adding the five points that gave us victory in the end by 1-16 to 2-10.
We were beaten by St Gabriels in the D4 league by 1-17 to 1-11 and our minor footballers beat Mountbellew-Moylough in the league.
