In part two we could only raise three white flags all from placed balls with Kinneen pointing a brace and Comer adding the other. It was a disappointing performance on the evening but despite that it is a learning curve for all involved.                                                                                                                                            Annaghdown opened their Minor League campaign against Monivea –Abbey and came away with an unlikely point win in added time when Jack Forde scored the winning point from a free, it was a high scoring game played in Monivea and the home side lead almost from start to finish and went in at the break 2-6 to 1-4 ahead. Sean Forde and Conor Quinn got the opening scores the game for the visitors but it was Quinn’s penalty goal that kept Annaghdown in the game in that opening half as they trailed by 2-6 to 0-4 in added time but the spot kick made it a five point deficit at the whistle. Monivea-Abbey raised another green flag with the first score of the second half and followed that with a point to lead by 3-7 to 1-4, but Cian O’Toole replied with a goal for the visitors. Annaghdown made a number changes and the move paid off as two of the replacements got on the scoresheet, Jack Forde gained procession and shot to the net followed by a white flag from Cian Garrett and it was now a three point game, both sides scored a brace of points with Jason Walsh and O’Toole scoring for Annaghdown who now trailed by 3-7 to 3-10. Sean Forde then converted a penalty for the visitors to tie the game before the afore mentioned wining score from Forde.
