South Down Sinn Féin

Sinn Féin remain the driving force nationally to achieve the aims of the Easter 1916 rising. Republicans across Ireland will rededicate themselves to the cause of freedom and equality. You can play your part by becoming a member of Sinn Féin, joining the peaceful rising and supporting our party in building an Ireland of equals.

Many events have been organised across South Down over the coming weeks and months to mark the centenary. They range from historical dramas, lectures, 1916 related cinema, exhibitions and parades.
