Next up was our Junior A Footballers who took on Holycross-Ballycahill in Gortnahoe last Sunday in the County Quarter Final. The game was played in terrible conditions and the scoreline reflected that as it was level at 1-1 to 4 points at half time. In the second half we managed to get the lead which we would hold until the final whistle as we won 1-9 to 1-4. The team on the day was: Tony O’ Brien, Jack Cleere, Keith Morrissey, Cathal Foley, Aidan Fitzgerald, Ciaran Mockler, Pauric O Brien, Eoin Ryan, Conor Duggan, William Cleere, Robbie Noonan, Ryan Crannitch, Daithi Hogan, Aidan Buckley, Jamie Broderick, Richie Needham, James Ryan, Colm Dunne, Eoin Fitzgerald, Bill Cuddihy, Cian Crannitch, Mickey O Brien, Sean Ryan, Michael Boland, Paddy Moroney, John Moroney, Danny Broderick, Jamie Brett, Cathal Mahoney, Cameron Moynihan.
They will now play Sean Treacys in the County Semi Final on the weekend of the 7/8 October
