Our U19 footballers began their championship last Saturday evening when they took on Kilsheelan-Kilcash in Monroe. They ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-11. The team on the night was: Brian O’Halloran, Evan Holohan, Bill Cuddihy, Oran Gahan, Sean Nash, Jack Cleere, Pat Moroney, Robbie Noonan, James Ryan, Finn Madigan, Willie Cleere, Eoin Fitzgerald, Charlie Noonan, Daithi Hogan, Danny Broderick, Conor Brett, Sean Fitzgerald, Cormack Duggan.
It was great to see our two Co Minors Sean Nash and Finn Madigan going well for St. Patricks.
Next up for our U19's is Clonmel Óg, on this Wednesday at 7.30 in Monroe. Our under 19 players will then take a break as many of them will be sitting their Leaving Certificate Exams. We wish all our players the best of luck in their Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate Examinations.
