Nenagh AFC Club News -February 2020

Driveway Update: Work has commenced on the driveway in Brickfields with some remedial work already taken place. It is expected that the curbs stones and footpath will be completed shortly. After that the laying of the driveway surface will take place.  This long overdue and extremely costly project was been held up in no small part because of the lack of funding. A Local Council grant and the generosity of the local people over the past number of years supporting the Christmas with the Stars concerts, has ensured the club now have a substantial amount of the funds required to pay for this project. Nenagh AFC would like to take this opportunity to thank its members, supporters, players, parents and the public at large for the understanding, patience and support given to it.

Juvenile Party Facilities: Following on from requests by parents, the club are now offering a party package for their Juvenile players. The package includes one-hour on the Astro-Turf and two-hours in our upstairs function room. We also provide a booklet of local catering services and entertainment contacts, such as magician’s and face-painters, that may be of help in planning your child’s party. For more details please call 089 435 0025 or contact any committee member or the players team manager.

LDL: The Nenagh AFC Lawson Cup game away to Coonagh last Sunday was postponed due to the pitch been unplayable. However, in Division 3A, Nenagh travelled to Murroe and had a 0-5 victory with Tommy Martin scoring a hat-trick and Shane O’Gorman and Liam Hogan scoring one each.
