Given the current circumstances all remaining games in Galway GAA Intermediate, Junior, U21 and Minor hurling championships are suspended until 2021. The intent is to complete all outstanding games in the new year.

Well done to the Sarsfields Hurlers named on Shane O'Neill's 38-man panel for Galway's SHC campaign, Joseph Cooney, Kevin Cooney, Darren Morrissey. Good luck to Galway Seniors at the weekend.

Updated Advice to Clubs and Counties – Updated Guidelines - 21.10.2020

 Club Games and Training

 Level 5 restrictions mean neither adult club games nor Training can take place between now and December 1st

 

 Minor and U20 Training and Games

 All games and training at U20 and Minor level will cease from midnight Wednesday 21st.

 Attendances at Games

 All Senior inter county games in both the 26 and 6 Counties must be played behind closed doors.

Free An Post postage for all nursing, care home mail [ per rte.ie ]

 An Post will carry cards and letters to and from residents of nursing and care homes, without a stamp, with Freepost written where the stamp normally goes.

 An Post has said the letters can be up to 2kg in weight, meaning people can send some sweets of a small magazine in a large envelope.

 If you have any common symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus), you should self-isolate and phone your GP straight away to get a COVID-19 test.

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 INCLUDE:

 a fever (high temperature - 38 degrees Celsius or above)

 a new cough - this can be any kind of cough, not just dry

 shortness of breath or breathing difficulties

 loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

 It can take up to 14 days for symptoms to show. They can be similar to symptoms of cold and flu.
