Our Junior A Hurlers played their last group game last Saturday when they took on Clonmel Óg in Monroe. In order to qualify for knockout stages we needed to win and also for other results to go our way. Unfortunately neither happened and we exit the championship at the group stage. With the majority of players that played in the 4 games this year 23 or under we hope that they have learned plenty from this year and build on it for the next couple of years. The team on the day was: Marcus O Halloran, Barry O Dwyer, Conor Barry, Conor Gorey, Cian Crannitch, Nicky Kearney, Ciaran Mockler, Aidan Buckley, Conor Duggan, Pauric O Brien, Tony O Brien, Tommy O Brien, Cathal Foley, Cathal Mahoney, Aidan Fitzgerald, Jamie Broderick, Conor Clancy, Michael Boland, Eoin Ryan, Richie Needham, Cameron Moynihan, Matt McCormack, Sean Ryan Mikey O Brien, Darren Boland.
Our Junior B Hurlers play the 2nd round of the championship this Saturday in Páirc na hEalai Carrick on Suir at 4.00 V Marlfield.
