Our Junior A Footballers played their first game of the championship last Sunday when they played Cahir in Clonmel. Down a few starters we were always playing second fiddle to a Cahir team who had already played a game in this championship and they ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-18 to 8 points. The team on the day was: Marcus O Halloran, Conor Gorey, Patrick Moroney, Colm Dunne, Keith Morrissey, Barry O'Dwyer, Eamon Needham, Eoin Ryan, Gavin Strappe, Ciaran Mockler, Joey Noonan, Jamie Broderick, Darren Boland, Nicky Kearney, Mikey O Brien, James Fitzgerald, Sean Ryan, Declan Morrissey, Pauric O'Brien, Cameron Moynihan. We have Ballingarry, Killenaule and Moyle Rovers left to play in the championship.
