Friday Church Services in Ballina:   After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm. 
Recently Baptised:   We welcome into God’s Family, Rhys Jackman Carey, Shoreside, son of Sandra and Douglas: Emily Marie Monaghan, Boru Court, daughter of Karen and Gerard who were baptized recently.
First Friday:   Friday next is the first Friday of  September.  Mass on Friday in Ballina at 10am and Boher at 7.30pm.  Exposition will take place as usual on First Fridays and the usual Communion Calls will be made.
Wedding Bells:   Congratulations to Priscilla Sheery, Greenhills and Damien Quigley, Derrycastle who were married in Ballina recently.
Church Choir:   Recruiting is now taking place for the new choir in Ballina Church under the direction of Celia Donoghue.  We invite people to volunteer and the first get together will take place in the church on Thursday at 7.30pm.  Remember that all are welcome.

Heat wave Summer Social: A great social night of fine food, great dancing, end of night of fine singing at the end of Summer social event in O'Donovan's Bar last Friday night. The Fr Hewitt Cup was proudly displayed and admired .Well done and thank you to club members who helped out on the night, ticket sellers and also to Mairead and Michael O'Donovan. A brilliant night was had by all.

Minor Hurling: Best of luck to the Minor Hurlers and their Management team in the North Semi Final against Shannon Rovers on Tuesday night.    

Bag Packing: Next weekend September 6th and 7th the club has a bag packing slot at Supervalue Queallys. Help is needed for just one hour on Fri 6th from 3pm-9pm,  Saturday 7th from 11pm-7pm. Please contact Eileen Breen, Brid Mc Mahon or Eamonn Power If your are available to help out. All help is very much appreciated and thank you for your continued support.

Buy A SOD: The 50th certificate of ownership of a sod for the new pitch was raffled at the packed heatwave summer social BBQ event at O'Donovan's Bar last Friday night. Michael Mc Keogh Ryninch was the lucky winner. Our goal is to sell 1000 sods and raise €50,000. Sods may be purchased on www.ballinatipperary.gaa.ie/buyasod also from club shop or committee members. Get you and your family's name inscribed in the clubs history.

North Tipp Intermediate final: Some programmes from North final are available to purchase please contact club secretary John Gleeson. Thank you to our supporters who turned out in numbers last week for the North Final.
