SATURDAY's LITTER PICK - COMMUNITY SPIRIT AT IT's BEST

Phenomenal Community Spirit shown by the people of our parish again on Saturday for our Litter Pick 🚯
Almost 100 superb volunteers gave up their Saturday to help clean the litter from all corners of the parish.
Almost 200 bags of litter/rubbish along with various other items were gathered!
The amount of litter/rubbish lying on our roadside/ditches is disgraceful. Hopefully today's progress can be maintained on a regular basis!
A word of thanks to today's organisers, to Meath County Council and Panda Waste for their assistance with sourcing litter pickers and to anyone else who donated bags/gloves to today's cause.
Finally thanks again to the wonderful people of our community for their terrific work today. 👏👏
