Tinryland’s 2nd adult team who will be competing at junior B level in the championship will travel to Bennekerry on this coming Saturday at 5 p.m. to play Palatine in their final division 3 game.
The Tinryland Village half marathon held on Saturday last attracted an entry of 420 runners and was a huge success with all proceeds going to the Tinryland N.S. Autism unit. Well done to race director Gregg Murphy and his strong team of helpers for overseeing this very successful event. A number of Tinryland GFC members took part with Paddy Regan winning the Paddy Byrne memorial cup as the first Tinryland runner home in a good time of 1 hour 30 minutes. Other club members who competed included Cormac O’Brien, Joey Ryan, Padraig Townsend, John Dempsey and Matthew Gleeson.
Condolences to our club members the Cahill family on the passing of Bob Cahills mother Ellen Cahill in Limerick during the past week.
Congratulations to Tinryland Community Hub who officially opened their doors on Friday last.
The club lotto jackpot of €10,000 is still standing and can be played online via the clubforce app or by purchasing a ticket from any committee member. Last weeks lucky dip winners were:
