Reminder to all club members
The Christmas Village will officially open at 7 pm this evening Friday. The club encourages all members of the adult and juvenile sections to attend and meet the guests of honour that includes 7 times All Ireland winner Dean Rock together with his father Barney who like Dean is a 3 time All Star and All Ireland winner with Dublin. Other guests of honour include Carlow Co Board chairman Jim Bolger and Co Council chairman Fintan Phelan. Tinryland club president Joe Gorman will officially turn on the lights on the Christmas tree and Fr Tom Little will bless the event. A carol service by candlelight will follow and there will be a very impressive art exhibition in the main hall.
