Fixtures

Following the recent publication of the Carlow G.A.A. fixtures Tinryland adult players will be very- busy in the coming weeks.

The first game on Friday next 11th June will be a S.F.L. Division 1 tie away to O’ Hanrahans in Deerpark at 7.30 p.m. The senior team under new manager Steve O’Meara will be hoping to begin the season well with a victory.  The condensed league programme will continue on Friday 18th June with a home game with Rathvilly followed on Friday 25th June with another home game against Bagenalstown Gaels. The League final is fixed for Friday 2nd July.

The club’s 2nd 15 who will contest the 2020 J.F.C. (A) final on 31st July against St. Patrick’s have been promoted to the S.F.L Div 2 and will begin their league campaign with an away fixture with Railyard in Moneenroe on Sunday next 13th June at 5.30 p.m. Further Division 2 fixtures include a home tie with Mount Leinster Rangers on Sunday 20th June, away to Ballinabranna on Sunday 27th June, Home to Eire Og on Sunday 4th July and away to Fenagh on Sunday 11th July with the Division 2 final fixed for Sunday 18th July.

As in previous years Tinryland will field a 3rd adult team that will compete in the S.F.L. Division 4.

That competition will begin on Saturday next 12th June away to Askea at 6.30 p.m. in Presentation College grounds. Further Division 4 ties include a home match with Ballinabranna on Saturday 19th June, Away to Kildavin-Clonegal in Spellman Park on Saturday 26th June with the Division 4 final fixed for Saturday 3rd July.

The Carlow Senior, Intermediate and Junior football championships will begin at the end of September with games at all levels taking place during October and November.

All players are reminded that membership which includes insurance must be paid in full before the season begins.
