Membership 2024

Milltown/Castlemaine GAA Club

Membership 2024

Membership Open

Club membership is open to Adult Players, Adult Non-Players, Juvenile Players and Families and New Members are always welcome.

Membership fees for 2024 season are now due and can be paid online by clicking the registration link below.

The membership fee received is funnelled towards the maintenance of facilities, playing equipment, affiliation fees, insurance, utility bills, team preparation and other administrative costs. Our club is reliant on members subscriptions to cover these running costs as the GAA at Central Level (Croke Park), Provincial Level (Munster) or County Level (Kerry) do not provide grants, finance, or assistance to cover these general running costs.

The membership fee rates for 2024 season, as set by the Club Executive, and approved at the A.G.M. are detailed below:

Membership Rates Frozen For 2024

Milltown/Castlemaine GAA Club is proud to keep our membership rates the same for the 2024 season, despite strong inflation over the past year which has resulted in significant increases in club running costs together the ongoing maintenance and improvements to our facilities, for the betterment of our club members (i.e., playing surface, stand, spectator amenities) and the wider community (walking track).

Value For Money

Membership of Milltown-Castlemaine GAA Club represents terrific value when compared to all other activities in the locality; the cost per session for attending a training session or match, across all teams, is intentionally kept to less than €2 per session.

  • There is n‘pay-for-play’ with the GAA Club; the club does not collect €2, €3 or €5 per session for the use of the facility; membership covers playing costs for the season.
  • The average cost per session drops dramatically, where teams train and/or play, more than 2 times a week.

Membership Day

We plan to have a Club Membership Day at Paddy Burke Memorial Park, in the near future, where people will have the option to join in person on that day by cash, cheque or card.

Please check our club notes and social media channels for details of when this will happen.
