DEVELOPMENT DRAW
One A Week Challenge.
We reached 1,200 tickets sold in our development draw last week and we are into week 2 of our "One A Week Challenge" and we are asking all those with tickets to sell one a week for the next 5 weeks, with next Wednesday, March 3rd as week 2.
Hopefully it went well for you last week, but if not try again this week and get yourself into the groove of selling. One seller has said that they give 1 hour a week to the exercise, drawing up a list of three or four people and make contact with them to make sales, while another is getting 5 people to pay €10 each, say in a family or workplace and let them raffle the ticket among themselves. We understand it's a challenge to sell remotely but we do need to keep this effort up to fund the development. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting play.clubforce.com and entering St, Brigid's Killashee or payment can be lodged directly into development account, details can be obtained from any committee member. We would like to thank everyone for your effort to date.

STRONGER FOR LONGER EXERCISE PROGRAMME
St. Brigid's in association with Resync Physiotherapy is running a community exercise programme that has been funded by Longford Community Development Committee under the Covid 19 Keep Well Campaign. This programme is for all members of the community yes, that includes you who thinks exercise is bringing in a bucket of coal from the shed!. It is free of charge and you can register by visiting the St. Brigid's Facebook page. With the evenings getting longer and the smell of fresh cut grass in the air, this is a great opportunity to give the body a bit of a jumpstart.

SYMPATHY
The club would like to express their deepest sympathy to the Walsh family, Clondra on the passing of T.J. and to Grainne Tyrell, Lyneen, Killashee on the recent passing of her Dad, Seamus Minogue. May they rest in peace.
