Hard Luck to our senior ladies who were defeated late on by visitors Killucan last Friday night despite a hat trick from Caoimhe Kilmurray, and a goal from Bridgie Heslin. It was a tight game and really could have went either way. The Saints face Coralstown Kinnegad next time out.

Hard luck to our division 3 side who lost out to a physical Ballynacargy in Lakepoint Park on Saturday afternoon. The Sainst only managed to register two first half scores, comparing to the visitors’ seven. The second half saw the concession of two soft goals which saw Ballynacargy run out worthy winners.

Well done to our division 4 who defeated in Athlone last Thursday evening. Goals from Conor Regan, Darren Kavanagh, Thomas Meehan and a penalty from the free scoring Conor Cochrane were crucial in the win. This boosts the Blues’ survival hopes and they face the Downs in Lakepoint Park next Thursday evening.
