Covid-19:
As we continue in level 5 restrictions, the GAA continues to impose its ban on all club activity. Please stay at home and follow the HSE guidelines.
Congratulations:
Well done to Lucy McCartan and Peamount United who featured in the Uefa Women’s Champions League last Wednesday and were narrowly beaten on penalties. What a great achievement it is to represent Ireland on European stage.
Condolences:
St Lomans Mullingar GAA Club would like to extend our sympathies to the Fitzgerald family on the sad passing of Noel Fitzgerald RIP (Grange Village, Mullingar and late of Coralstown) who passed away this week. Noel was a member of the nursing staff of St Lomans Hospital and became involved with St Lomans GAA Club and was one of the driving forces during what was a period of great success for the club. He was closely involved as both a mentor and as an officer and served as both secretary and chairman of the club an illustration of his dedication and hard work.
He was a selector in 1985 when St Lomans won the Junior Championship to gain promotion to Intermediate ranks and also the following year when we won the championship to gain senior status. Noel also served as a trusted part of Paddy Collins umpiring team for numerous high profile games throughout Ireland including numerous provincial national and All Ireland finals.
Deepest sympathies are extended to his wife Mary brothers Jim, Joe and Andy, sister Marian (Bradley) and his family and many friends
