St Lomans GAA Club Notes 19/10/2020:
Covid-19:
In light of the rise of Covid 19 cases both nationally and locally we are, as a club, deciding to stop all underage football training for the next two weeks, as and from today Friday 9th of October.
We understand that many of our young footballers will be disappointed with this decision but we must put the health and safety of those directly, and indirectly, involved with the club first and foremost. We will review this decision in 2 weeks’ time.

Congratulations:
Well done to Westmeath Senior men’s side who secured an eight point victory over Laois on Saturday in division 2 of the Allianz league. Well done to our lads who were instrumental in the win. John Heslin and Ronan O’Toole ended the day with a tally of eight points and three points respectively, while Jason Daly made a couple of great saves.
Well done to Westmeath Camogie Ladies side on a historic victory on Saturday in their Championship bow. Special mention to the Lomans Ladies on the panel Fiona Keating, Muireann Scally and Sandra McGrath.
Finally well done to Westmeath Minor hurlers on a great win also Saturday against Carlow. Well done to our 4 Clubmen on the panel Danny McCartan, Jack Geoghegan, Ciaran Nooney and David Aughey.
