As members of the community, we are all very concerned with the rise in the number of cases of Covid-19 both locally and nationally. Our volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure a safe environment for players to train and play - thank you.
We all recognise the positive effect a return to sport has had since last July but we need to do our utmost to ensure the safety of our players, coaches and their familes.
In view of the recent upsurge in Covid-19 cases, the CUFC committee has decided with immediate effect that the Adult and Youth Teams will take a break from all club activities for the time being and until the situation improves.
The Schoolboy and Academy sections of the club will continue to train for now, in strict compliance with HSE / FAI guidelines – non-contact training only and social distance at all times – at the discretion of each squad’s coaches and managers.
The Club committee will review the evolving situation on an on-going basis and may take further decisions in the coming weeks. We thank you all for your support
