After going behind by 1-6 to no score on 20 minutes, the Intermediates found themselves with a mountain to climb. However, a brilliant goal by Paddy Gahan inspired a comeback to get within 2 points of K/C on 32 mins - 1-7 to 1-5 - but try as they might, they could never get ahead. The next IFC game is against Eire Og next Sunday at 3pm in Bro Leo Park, Tullow. Eire Og have suffered two narrow defeats in the IFC to-date - 0-8 to 1-4 against Kildavin/Clonegal and 3-5 to 2-6 against Myshall.
