Club Development
Good news this week on the Club development front with confirmation of formal grant approval from the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport. Funding is now finally allocated for refurbishment and electrical works in the Clubhouse. This includes a full re-paint of the Clubhouse, refurbishment of the dressing-room showers, an external toilet, external storage, remodelling of the large open plan area within the facility, and equipment for a small gym.

Work is expected to commence in the next few weeks. Our thanks to the Development Committee and everyone involved in helping the Club get to this stage.

Lotto
We are hoping to have the weekly Club Lotto up and running again in the next two or three weeks. It is our main fundraiser though it has been suspended since March. There is considerable interest already, and with on-line options available, our hope is to attract more support with its re-launch.

Intermediate Championship Semi-Final
This is a big week for our senior footballers who take on Naomh Barróg in the semi-finals of the intermediate championship on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, the game takes place behind closed doors due to Government restrictions. No spectators are allowed.

We wish the team well and will do our best to have someone within the ground to keep us updated with the score.

Weekend’s Results
Hard luck to our junior hurlers who went down on Sunday to a stronger Castleknock side. Our minor footballers put in a strong performance to compete well against table-toppers Round Towers of Lusk.

Several juvenile fixtures over the weekend. The U14 Girls were in hard luck going down to a stronger Stars of Erin on Friday night. The U13 Girls played very well in their two games of football and camógie. Well done to our U12 Boys who played some great football in their two games, lots of hope for the future with excellent performances all round. Similarly, our 13 hurlers put in a great display away to Oliver Plunketts with some brilliant hurling to take the win.

Match fixtures will be posted on our FaceBook page during the week. New players are always welcome. Team contact details are published on our website.

All Weather Pitch Rota
John Glennon is currently working on the rota for using the All Weather pitch. Mentors should contact John on 087 6474992 with any requests for use.
