St. Patricks GAA Club

We extend sympathy to Eddie O’Connor, Drangan, Liam O’Connor Ballyvadlea and Tommy O’Connor Ballyhomuck on the recent death of their sister Mrs. Margaret Ruane of Ballina, Co. Mayo. We also extend sympathy to Margaret’s husband James and their sons Declan and David. Locally her brothers Eddie, Liam and Tommy were all members of St. Patricks GAA teams with Eddie winning a South Tipperary under 15 football championship in 1955. Liam won South and Co. minor football championship in 1970 and a South Junior Football Championship in 1986. After many years playing hurling and Football for St. Patricks Liam was a selector in 1990 when a St. Patricks - Grangemockler combination won the South Tipperary Senior Football Final. Liam was also the manager of the St. Patricks Junior Footballers who reached the South final in 1990. May Margaret Rest In Peace.
