Tinryland G.F.C. Club Notes 21st April 2024
Competitive action will resume this week after a number of postponments due to the weather.
Our senior team will take on newly promoted Clonmore in the S.F.L division 1 on Friday next in Rathcrogue at 7.30 p.m. On the following evening Saturday 20th April our junior team will be at home to Kilbride in the S.F.L. Division 3.
There are still a few spots available for the 96 -team underage South East tournament for U12, U14 and U16 that will take place over 3 weekends in our club in late June and early July. Two new cups will be on offer for the U14 boys and girl’s competition in memory of the Whelan brothers Peenie and Michael and Tommy O’Neill our late club and Co. secretary. Preparations are underway for this years Carlow Feile competition for U15 boys. A Feile fundraiser table quiz is planned for Friday 26th April at 8 p.m. in conjunction with the presentation of Kit for this year’s Feile team.
The Tinryland G.F.C. lotto jackpot currently stands at €6700 and can be played online via the club force app or by purchasing a ticket for the Monday evening draw from any committee member.
