Tinryland G.F.C. Annual General Meeting
There was a very good attendance at the A.G.M. of Tinryland G.F.C. in the clubhouse on Monday last 27th November.
Chairman Bernard Mullen thanked everybody who had helped out in a very busy year and he was enthused to see new faces and such a large attendance at the A.G.M. He thanked the clubs main sponsor Xenon and all the other sponsors who had kept the flag flying during the year. He also welcomed the appointment of the new senior team manager John Nolan who will pay his first visit to the club to meet the players on this coming Friday.
Hon. Secretary Enda Dunican reflected on a successful year particularly at underage level when U15 and U17 championships were won. Enda complimented the various coaches who had looked after all the teams in the past year both at adult and juvenile level.
In his comprehensive and well- presented financial report outgoing treasurer Michael Ryan complimented the club members who had driven the various fundraising projects such as the golf classic and the members draw in conjunction with C.L.G. Ceatharlach. Michael stepped down at the meeting due to work commitments and he will be replaced by another experienced Gaa official Lorraine McGuire. The assistant treasurer will be announced shortly.
Former player and mentor John Doyle was elected as vice president following the resignation of former incumbent Pat Hayden.
