We extend sympathy to the relatives and friends of the late Philomena O’Dwyer of Corbally Drangan who died recently. A native of Knockgraffan, New Inn, Philomena (nee Tobin) was predeceased by her late husband Billy. Both Philomena and Billy were regular card players and attenders at local horse racing meetings. Philomena was also known to have an occasional flutter on the horses at the local bookmakers in Killenaule. May she rest in peace.
