Last Saturday evening was another great evening for everyone involved with St Pats Club when our U19 Hurlers made it back-to-back South Title wins with victory over neighbours Fethard in Ned Hall Park. A goal from Daithi Hogan in the first half gave us a 5-point lead at half time while a Willie Cleere goal in the second half put daylight between the teams which ended up in a 10 point win and sets us up for another tilt at the County Championship. Credit must go to both players and management for all their hard work throughout the year to get to this position. The fact that they are also in the South Football Final this week shows the hard work that has been done with this age group and hopefully we will see as big a crowd as they aim to do the double. The team on the night was: Conor Brett, Pat Moroney, Bill Cuddihy, Evan Houlihan, Brian O’Halloran, Jack Cleere, Sean Nash, Robbie Noonan, James Ryan, Finn Madigan, Oran Gahan, Willie Cleere, Danny Broderick, Charlie Noonan, Daithi Hogan, Eoin Fitzgerald, Sean Fitzgerald, Cormac Duggan, Eoin Morrissey.  The management team consists of Liam Fitzgerald, Nigel Cleere, Davy Hogan, Declan Morrissey and Jimpy Noonan. They will play either Gortnahoe or Loughmore-Castleiney in the County Semi Final on Wednesday next September 20 in Templetuohy at 8.00
