GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships 2023
A Runaí,
Application Forms for 2023 Part Gaeltacht Scholarships to Colaistí Chorcha Dhuibhne are now available from Runaí of relevant District Board.
43 Ciarraí students / Club youth members were offered Part Scholarships to attend Colaistí Chorcha Dhuibhne in the Dingle Gaeltacht in 2022.
“The promotion of our culture and heritage is central to the aims of the GAA”
District Boards have in the past contributed €30 per student to this scheme (along with Coiste Ciarraí and Comhairle na Mumhan) and it is envisaged that similar arrangements shall continue for 2023. Total contribution / part scholarship value to student = €170.
Note: Part Scholarships are only offered to GAA members of relevant club – age 12 to 18 and attending Post Primary School – Third level not included.
Clubs/Applicants must obtain application form from Runaí of relevant District Board, complete all details (Name, Address, D.O.B., Club and Membership No., Reference No. where available) and return to District Board Runaí for signing off.
Some applicants may have already enrolled / booked their place with Coláistí Chorcha Dhuibhne and received a reference number.
Completed forms signed by District Runaí to be returned to Kerry County Board, Austin Stack Park, Tralee for my attention for further processing/administration.
Closing date is Friday 31st March 2023.
Your assistance is appreciated. Míle Buiochas.
