DIVISION 2
Our division 2 team played Tubberclair on Saturday evening last in Multy. Tubberclair opened the scoring with a point inside the first minute. Ian McGovern soon equalised before Tubberclair hit their first goal of the game. A point from Ciaran Madden settled Multy down and we went on to score the next 1-6 on the trot with points coming from Emmett Ferrick (2), Anto McGivney (2), 1 each from Ian McGovern, Jamie Coffey and David Wallace scoring a goal. Tubberclair finished the half with a goal and a point with Emmett Ferrick's third point of the half also coming in the closing stages of the half.
A quick goal by Ian McGovern opened the second half scoring.
Jamie Coffey and the Tubberclair number 12 traded points before Multy scored 1-4 without reply, 2 points from David Wallace and 1-2 from Jamie Coffey. A point for Tubberclair in the 14th minute was quickly followed by points from Jamie and Aran Whelan as Multy continued to dominate. Tubberclair scored a point next before Multy scored their final 3 points of the game from Anto, Jamie and Ian. A consolation goal in injury time for Tubberclair finished off the scoring.
