Following the Government directive on Social Distancing and The GAA suspension of games and activities in March Ballymac GAA suspended our weekly lotto.
Our lotto has been supported by all our community in various ways since it was founded over twenty years ago.
The backbone of our weekly lotto have been our local sellers, our local draw venues and our members who run the weekly draw. We also have a good number of our players who play on line.
At the moment it is not possible to run the lotto and our Jackpot stands at €7,000.00 . When the Lotto resumes all annual, multi and single tickets that are currently in the draw will be honoured for the full period eg if you have an annual ticket bought locally from a seller you will still get the remaining draws from the total of 50. The locally sold tickets will have the end dates changed to account for the period of time of the suspension.
In the mean time we toyed with running the lotto solely on line and felt our Club could not do this as too many people not playing on line have invested in the Jackpot etc However from next Monday 25th May we are going to run an only on line lotto until we can get back to our normal lotto. This is totally separate from our present lotto and to facility Social Distancing it will be run totally online.
Once we get back to normal this lotto will be finished and we will continue with our normal lotto. The Jackpot of " Ballymac Play Ball" if not won by the time we return to full activity will be added to the now suspended €7,000.00 jackpot.
