There will be a special Development Meeting on Friday 31st May at 9.00PM in the Clubhouse while the next full club meeting will be on 7th June – Bord Na Nog at 8.30PM and Senior Meeting at 9.30PM.
The U16 team turned in a great performance in the final league game with a 3-8 to 6-9 win over St Farnans last Wednesday with star performances from Mark Kearns and Cian McDermott who both scored 3 goals. The team was: Stephen Keegan, Arron Kelly, Enda O’Connell, Paul Harrington, Andy Flynn, Ciaran Kilfeather, Caolan Morrisroe (0-2), Paul Higgins (0-1), Caolan McCann (0-1), Daire Kearns, Karl McKenna, Darragh Hailstones, Luke Flynn (0-1), Cian McDermott (3-2), Mark Kearns (3-2), Subs: Marc Keegan for K McKenna, Alan Kelly for A Kelly, Conal McCormack for M Kearns, Conor Heffernan for L Flynn, Daniel Baker for C McDermott. They now take on Tourlestrane in the Shield Semi-Final.
The U14 team had a great 2-3 to 5-8 win also over St Farnans on Friday evening – they now take on Easkey at home next Friday at 7.00PM.
The Golf classic will now take place on Saturday June 15th in Castle Dargan – format will be 3 ball scramble with green fees of €90 per team – please support.
The winners of the April draw were Liam Brennan, Donal McDermott, Bernard Mulhern while the winners of the May draw were Padraig McKeon, Martin Baker and Martin Nealon.
