There was no winner of the weekly club lotto. The numbers drawn were 5-17-32, next week´s draw will take place at McCarthys Bar with a jackpot of €2,800.
The Catlehaven Junior 1 team played two league games during the week and had mixed results. They had a good win way to Ballinascarthy last Wednesday evening. Both teams struggled to score in the windy conditions during the first half. Castlehaven got an early goal to lead at half time by 1-2 to 0-03. The second half was very competitive, Ballinascarthy got a goal to cut the deficit to one point. The Juniors lost to Clann na nGael last Saturday evening in Drimoleague. The home team got an early goal to race into a four point lead. Castlehaven got a great goal to cut the deficit to one point. The home team lead at half time by 1-6 to 1-5. The second half was a very physical affair with the home team getting a vital goal and they won by 2-10 to 1-12. The club sends best wishes the The Cork U21 footbal team and Micheal Hurley for the Munster U21 final against Tipperary on Thursday night.
Mark Collins and Brian Hurley had a great league campaign for Cork. They now play Donegal next Sunday in the league semi finals.
The U 18 C team played their first game away to St. James in the 12 - A - Side league and had a comprehensive victory.
