There was no winner of the weekly club lotto. The numbers drawn were 3-9-27, next week´s draw will take place at The Harbour Bar with a jackpot of €2,600.
The Castlehaven U21 team were beaten by Clonakilty in the Carbery divisional final last Sunday in Rosscarbery. Clon were the better team on the day and were deserving winners. The Castlehaven team had a good season winning the Glenville tournament and making the divisional final. The players were disappointed but they will have to regroup now for the minor championship. The club wishes to thanks the team management and players for the efforts and sacrifices they made for the U 21 campaign.

The Castlehaven U14 team picked up the league points on Saturday evening, with a good win over Glanmire. Castlehaven dominated the match and won 9 -11 to 1-2, G Foley (1-2) D O’Donovan (0-2), A Whelton (0-4), A Minihane (3 -01), L O’Mahony(3-2), J Cahalane(1-0), S Bohane(1-0).
The U8 boys competed well at monster blitz in Clon last Saturday. Castlehaven had two teams, they played Clonakilty, Sam Maguires, Kilbrittian and Kilmacabea. U14 girls played a league game against Carbery Rangers last Saturday evening in Union Hall. The Castlehaven girls were defeated on a score line of 1-7 to 6-6. Team: Supawadee Ampawan, Maddie O’Driscoll, Siobhan Maguire, Aibhlin O Driscoll, Aine Daly, Jessica Mc Carthy (0-1) Clodagh Bergin, Aine Seymour, Siadbh O Donovan(0-1) Ciara French, Sarah O Donovan (0-2), Becky Hayse (0-1), Sarah Buckley, Kate Browne(0-1) Eilis Bohane(1-1) Subs used Maria O Mahony, Marie O Regan, Sarah Buckley. The U14 Girls are taking part in the Feile in Clon on Easter Monday.
The Castlehaven Ladies club are holding a €1,000 Monster Bingo fund raiser on Wednesday 8th in the Community Hall Union Hall at 8:30pm. Super raffle and refreshments will be served on the night.
The new development at Moneyvolihane commenced on April 1st. Voluntary help, skilled and unskilled is wanted to help in preparing the site for the new stand, contact C Collins 0871313030 or B Hurley 0868230229.
Brian Hurley and Mark Collins scored vital goals for the Cork team that beat Mayo in the league last Sunday. Cork have topped group 1 and now qualified for the league semi-finals.
