Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was no winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 1-3-22. Consolation prizes were won by Ger's, Annette Twomey and Michael O Brien.

Castlehaven vs Naomh Aban on Sat 8th at Ahiohill

The Castlehaven and Naomh Aban U15 teams played the final last afternoon at Ahiohill. Castlehaven got an excellent start scoring 1-04pts for an early lead. Naomh Aban started to come into game scoring 0-04pts to let the half time score Castlehaven 1-07pts to 0-04pts . The second half was close early on but Castlehaven finished very strong to win the game Full Time Castlehaven 2-13pts Naomh Aban 0-07pts

Premier 1 U19 Final

The Castlehaven and Beara U19 teams played in the Premier 1 final last Saturday evening at Bantry. A good start is half the battle and Beara got 2 early goals to lead at half time by Castlehaven 0-02pts Beara 2-08pts. It was always going to be an uphill battle for the second half. In fairness the Castlehaven team showed great resilience and scored two goals to cut the deficit to 6pts . Beara kicked two points to keep Castlehaven at bay . Castlehaven bombarded Beara for the last 10 mins but Beara held on to win by Full-time Castlehaven 2-07pts Beara 2-10pts.

The club would like to thank the players and management for the huge effort all year. Also congratulations to Beara on a great win.

Munster Intermediate Championship

The Castlehaven Intermediate ladies traveled to play Erin’s Own in the first round of the Munster championship last Sunday. Castlehaven just came up short loosing by 2 pts. The team can be proud of the great year. Achieved number one aim by winning the Intermediate County and playing senior grade 2023.
