Our Club Today..
O’Dempsey’s Gaa club is situated in the parish of Portarlington Co. Laois with a catchment area around the village of Killenard. We are bordered by 5 other Gaa Club’s Portarlington, Emo & Courtwood (Laois), Gracefield (Offaly) and Monasterevin (Kildare). The club has won 2 Senior, 2 Intermediate, 3 Junior, 1 U21 and 2 minor Championships as well as numerous league and cup titles. O’Dempsey’s was founded in 1951 and today caters for teams from Under 10 to Under 21 and two adult teams Junior and Senior. Our club grounds are located at the Old Pound just outside Ballybrittas. At the moment we are in the middle of redeveloping our club house and should be finished before the end of the year.
